For a period of two months, a FOCUSON Industrial Services staff member supported the logistics department at the customer’s premises, who acts in the field of processing and distributing high-quality carpetings for the automotive industry, in the following tasks:

  • Coordination with the OEM
  • Transport planning
  • Monitoring of transports
  • Implementation of inventory postings
  • Implementation of orders
  • production scheduling

Due to our staff member’s commitment and know-how, the customer was able to cover a short-term bottleneck without a considerable training phase, thus cost-effectively and without lead time.

Best practice in- and outbound logistics

Because of supply bottlenecks on behalf of a provider, the danger of an assembly line stoppage arose at a production line of a renowned automobile manufacturer in Graz. FOCUSON Industrial Services supported the customer’s team on-site at the provider with coordinative and monitoring activities, both in in- and outbound logistics and planning, in order to ensure and improve and also to stabilise the delivery reliability to Graz.
