Christmas and Easter are two of the highest-revenue times for the retail trade. Warehouse staff, logistics systems and even the parcel services are at full stretch. Consumer demand is especially high for toys, electronics goods and fashion items. But did you know that there is also peak demand at Christmas for Tomatoes & Co?

Vegetable production throughout the entire year, ultimate quality standards and an innovative and unique way of obtaining heat are some of the characteristic features of our customers. The logistics-related preparations for this Christmas business period in combination with campaigns by an exclusive partner from the Food Retail Trade (LEH) started back in November. To contend with more than double the quantity of goods to supply, our customer chooses a new approach and commits to the logistics know-how and experience of FOCUSON Industrial Services.

Logistics ServiceOrder Picking

The first team got started in mid-November. Each week, even more appropriately trained and experienced employees are getting deployed. With the launch of the Christmas business period, the FOCUSON Logistics Support Team will be increased by up to 20 employees. Our teams provide support with manual stock-picking and dispatch. Orders are assembled for dispatch to the correct subsidiaries and outlets.
