Whenever quality problems and defective components are supplied to the OEM for several months without being detected, there is a risk of losing the order altogether.
FOCUSON Industrial Services was entrusted with checking and packing 100 percent OK parts, and with supplying them to the OEM. The entire checking and packing process was outsourced to FOCUSON, with autonomy and responsibility for costs. Core employees were accommodated in other areas. Up to 20 quality technicians and experts from the FOCUSON Group worked on-site on the customer’s premises for more than 30 months.
Our employees were quickly able to raise the quality standard and to bring about a de-escalation of the situation in relation to the OEM. They worked with detailed project schedules, and these were implemented rigorously. Weekly coordination meetings with the customer assured transparency and inspired confidence. The number of complaints was reduced to a verifiable extent. Today, our customer can once again point to superlative performance and a high level of quality.
Follow-up orders are the outcome of the great work done by our employees. As a consequence, we are at present back on site with the customer, this time with a team of 15.
