This really can happen! Brochures featuring the latest offers are with the printers and shall soon be appearing in the postboxes of consumers. However, if the Consumer Products (Hard Lines) ordered, such as toys, domestic appliances, tools, high-end electrical appliances, furniture, jewellery, miscellaneous accessories or Soft Lines such as textiles or shoes fail to meet quality and market requirements, rapid action is called for. – And this is where the FOCUSON teams can spring into action.

Standards from the automotive industry for consumer goods

Flexible, rapid and right around the clock, our skilled employees take charge of product inspections and the preparation of end consumer goods in accordance with defined standards, directives and standards on location at your business premises. Our teams work with detailed test instructions to perform random sample checks in accordance with AQL directives (Acceptable Quality Level) and on the basis of the high standards employed by the automotive industry. Every stage of their work is documented precisely. We also provide you with all of the product-related and work-related information, key performance indicators and results online and in real time through our  IT Customer portal FOIS 4.0.

Scopes and Requirements

The tasks are many and varied!

 

  • 10,000 multi-function cooking appliances: Visual inspection, new cable routing
  • 2,000 small furniture items: Replacement of the wrong components, inspection and function check, assembly and repackaging
  • Electrical luminaires: Labelling for any missing CE marks
  • Toy cars: Labelling of any missing CC labels
  • Ceramic goods: Quality inspection and random samples in acc. with AQL standards
  • Bed frames: Visual inspection
  • Transparent sleeves: Surface inspection
  • Kitchen appliances Unpacking, replacement of springs, cleaning, repacking
  • Chiller compartments: Removal, cleaning, replacement and adhesive bonding of damaged plastic knobs
